TaiG (Taiji in Chinese) (/taɪ dʒi/ or /taɪ tʃi/) is an untethered jailbreak for all devices on iOS 8.0-8.4, except the Apple TV and Apple Watch. It was initially released on 29 November, 2014 for 8.0 - 8.1.2 but since updated to support 8.1.3 - 8.4.

Introducing TaiG: this name started to be talked when this security research group started patching some bugs/exploits for Pangu Team. They started launching patches for Pangu Exploits. This Chinese team became recognized by the cydia / jailbreak communities when they launched a new jailbreak tool to fix all the devices that were accidental upgraded when Apple launched iOS 8.1.1.
Apple started seeing this kind of team as a big force in what concerns with security research pointing some members in security fix credits, but there are some cons we are also discussing in this posts before download links.
Some rumors came with TaiG Jailbrek release. Some experts reported that personal information was being sent to china (with no authorization), but the true is that this tool worked fine with major part of devices and, after that a lot of experts (some of the same that asked followers to stay way from TaigG) announced publicly a clean status for TailG, and with consistence nothing was proved in this respect, but to be consistent this is a risk that we, the end users of this kind of tools should have in mind.
